Column and Pipework Protection:

Supporting Columns are highly vulnerable to damage from vehicle traffic. Repairs can be costly and, in the worst cases, could affect the structural integrity of the car park with far reaching consequences. Exposed pipework and lighting columns are also highly vulnerable and cannot always be placed in traffic free areas. All Wallace Protection Systems’ column protection products cater for various sizes and can be tailored to your precise needs.

Column Buffa Plus

Stronger than the standard Column Buffa these are available in full or semi-circle units and are recommended to be double height. The spring steel buffers, combined with enclosed semi-circles offer strong protection from vehicles at low speeds. The feet can also be turned inwards to prevent a trip hazard or damage to tyres. Minimum size is 500mm internal diameter.

 

Column Buffa

A light and economic monostrut system which offers protection from cars at low speeds. It can be radiussed as low as 200mm and is suitable for both interior and exterior use.

Column Guard and Column Corner Fender

These Rubber Buffas are for use when the impact is likely to be brushing or scraping the column rather than head on impacts. Height = 1200mm.
The Column Corner Fender is an alternative to the Column Guard and is supplied in standard 1m lengths. It features high visibility yellow stripes on both sides.

Column SentryTM

Column Sentry®, a patented product, is molded from a semi-flexible and stress-crack resistant plastic. It minimises the force of vehicle impact that can damage columns, surrounding supports, vehicles and operators. Twenty-four pockets strategically placed around Column Sentry’s circumference are angled to help deflect impact energy away from the column.
The vent hole forces air out at a controlled rate, deflating slowly and maintaining impact resistance Column Sentry nests within the column flanges, eliminating side slip when hit from any angle.

For every column in your facility, we have the protection that fits and lasts. From our smallest 4" x 4"/10cm x 10cm Column Sentry to our largest 20" x 20"/50cm x 50cm, we have your columns covered. Fits columns from 4" to 20" squares, rounds, and H’s.

Concrete WrapTM

Cushions existing concrete bases from posts and pillars to columns and flat walls. Two-inch thick closed-cell foam with protective outer shell, easily installs on flat walls, round posts, and curves.

Corner SentryTM

Foam filled energy absorbing protection for vehicles and corners. The Corner Sentry will bounce back impact after impact and is ideal for most 90 degree corners. A maintenance free product that will offer long term cost savings to your buildings structure.

• Soft EVA exterior won’t scratch vehicles and resists cracking for long life.

• Closed-cell foam interior provides resistance and energy Absorption yet retains shape after impact

• Ideal in parking garages, warehouses, material-handling facilities, or anywhere corners are exposed

Park SentryTM

Uniquely designed polypropylene column protector that can be quickly and easily customised to fit around virtually any square column or post to protect vehicles and columns. An effective cushioning column protector that absorbs impacts and returns to shape again and again.
The Park Sentry modernises the look of car parks without Sacrificing space. Its specially designed flat panels give progressive resistance, offering soft protection for light bumps, and more resistance when needed to absorb larger collisions
